A group comprised of 155 pilgrims in three convoys from Azerbaijan, Iran’s neighbor to the northwest, are visiting Imam Reza shrine in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad.

The Deputy Office for International Pilgrims Affairs has arranged special programs for the Azeri pilgrims in the Dar al-Rahmah Portico in the shrine.

The programs include the Holy Quran recitation, eulogies and sermons.

The Azeri pilgrims can also participate in a number of religious contests and receive books and cultural gifts as awards.
