Shalamcheh pilgrims services station (Mu’kib) is one of the 35 stations set up inside of the country to provide accommodation, food, and hygiene services to Arbaeen pilgrims.

According to the director of Razavi Volunteers and Public Services Center in Bushehr, “This station has been providing services to pilgrims under the aegis of Razavi Keramat Foundation since August 22”.

Mehran Khordehbin Moghaddam pointed to 30 male and female volunteers in the station, saying: “The pilgrims services station has prepared and distributed some 17,500 warm and cold daily meals among the pilgrims. Also, the pilgrims have been treated with some snacks such as cakes, biscuits, dates, etc.”

As for accommodation, the Shalamcheh Mu’kib has allocated a 400-sqm space with hygiene facilities such as toilets and showers.

The station in Bushehr Province will be providing services to pilgrims for 15 days.

Arbaeen, is a Shia religious observance that occurs forty days after the Day of Ashura. It commemorates the martyrdom of Imam Hussain, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), who was martyred on the 10th day of the month of Muharram.
