Pilgrimage diplomacy and activating capacities of scientific, cultural and health tourism and also economic issues of Imam Reza shrine at international level were some topics discussed by Hoj. Faqih Esfandiari, Imam Reza shrine’s deputy for international affairs, and Mr. Masoumifar, head of Iran’s MFA in Mashhad.

They also exchanged views on possibility of creating virtual communication structures for providing lovers of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) with direct and indirect contact to Imam Reza shrine.

The two officials also talked about interested topics in the areas of donation, endowments and facilitation of contact of Iranians living abroad.
