Iran’s cultural attaché in Iraq visits Imam Reza shrine

Iran’s cultural attaché in Iraq has paid a visit to Imam Reza shrine in northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad and gotten to know the capacities of the shrine.

To activate the shrine’s international capacities and coordinate with universities and other institutes in the shrine for better international activism, the Deputy Office for International Affairs has invited the Iranian cultural attaché in Iraq to visit the shrine, hoping to establish ways for closer cooperation with the country.

“To this end, Hoj Abazari, the Iranian cultural attaché in Iraq, has been invited to see the capacities in Razavi University of Islamic Sciences (RUIS), Imam Reza International University (IRIU) and Razavi Hospital”, said the deputy for international affairs in the shrine, Hoj Mostafa Faqih Esfandyari.

In separate meetings, different strategies for mutual cooperation and efficient ties between the Deputy Office for International Affairs and Iran’s cultural attaché were discussed. 

In meetings with officials from RUIS and IRIU, a number of issues such as admission of international students, academic fields, capacities, and strengths of the two universities were discussed.

In another meeting in Razavi Hospital, Health Pilgrimage was brought up for discussion. Hoj Abazari pointed to ways of expanding diplomacy and health pilgrimage, stressing on measures to remove intermediaries that might complicate pilgrimage for health purposes.
