Given the fast expansion of new social media platforms that gives rise to countless doubts, the foundations of society have shaken and minds have been faced with numerous questions. Therefore, Imam Reza shrine’s Religious Q&A Office is set to provide clarification in a bid to clear religious doubts.
The office was launched in 2003 to undertake face to face programs with its audience and pilgrims in order to answer religious questions and doubts.
According to Hoj Mahmoud Ameri, head of the office, the center runs programs on three levels; namely, in-person answering to religious questions in courtyards, porticos, and entrances of the shrine; religious knowledge circles in Parizad School (affiliated with the shrine); and religious questions programs.
Also, the center is tasked with addressing the public’s religious inquiries via phone calls and messages.
The 32030 hotline is the only 24/7 conduit for Shia Muslims to find out answers to their religious questions. Some 3,500 questions are answered daily via this hotline.
As urged by the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, paving the way for more intimate and free dialogues with people is one of the best ways to do away with their mental preoccupations.
