Addressing a large group of Razavi servants from Mazandaran province in northern city of Sari, Hoj. Marvi stated: “Having a blessed success for serving Imam Reza (AS) and his pilgrims is not confined to a special time and place as Imam is not limited to a specific time and place”.
He further stressed: “Islamic traditions have always advised Muslims to exercise a wisdom-based pilgrimage; Imam Reza’s (AS) servants must know the eighth Imam (AS) very well first and use teachings of him in their lives then”.
Custodian of Imam Reza shrine said: “One of the brightest aspects in the life of the infallible Imams (AS), including Imam Reza (AS), is the social services and actions given by them in order to serve ordinary people, solve their problems and support the poor and deprived in the society”.
He added: “Opportunity of being a servant and giving service to the needy people is a blessing from God and it is one of the most noticeable factors in approaching God”.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he introduced Razavi servants’ activities in line with what infallible Imams were doing, and mentioned: “Best ingredients and items have to be chosen and bought when needs of the poor are taken into account in a way that their dignity is observed”.
Pointing to the great capacities of Imam Reza holy shrine in empowering people and job creation in the sociey, Hoj. Marvi said: “Razavi servants can use popular and governmental capacities under the name of Imam Reza shrine when doing their charity works and jobs aiming eradication of poverty”.
Chief custodian of Imam Reza holy shrine reiterated: “We all have to open the way for good works in a way young people with different viewpoints can have an opportunity to participate in charity works. Imam Reza (AS) belongs to all and everyone should be able to participate under flag of Imam Reza (AS)”.
He added: “Imam Reza (AS) is not Imam of a specific group of people. In fact, he is Imam of all humans; all humans are audience of Imams (AS) and holy Quran. So, we have to put categorization of people aside and turn attentions to this fact that being active under the flag of Ahl al-Bayt (AS) leads to evolution of people”.
Concluding his remarks, Hoj. Marvi stated: “Encouraging people to be active in different arenas such as elections through elaboration is among national, religious, and revolutionary responsibilities of all people including Razavi servants. Of course, constitution of Razavi servants must support no one or party and it should be so vigilant in a way that Imam Reza shrine cannot be labeled as a partisan center”.
He further noted: “Razavi servants must be revolutionary and remain revolutionary, but being revolutionary is different from being factional and partisan. We consider the origin of the Islamic revolution to be the holy shrine; therefore, it is our duty to defend and explain the revolution and invite people to revolutionary movements”.
