In 2004, dried yeast production line was launched using state-of-the-art technology. Subsequently, the company gradually increased its production capacity, so much so that in 2022, it increased its annual production from 6000 to 7500 tonnes. Not only did this move circumvent sanctions, but also it was the first success in domestic designing of bioreactor machine (fermenter).

Currently, the company covers 25 percent of domestic need.

One of the most noticeable features of Razavi Yeast Company is that it draws upon indigenous expertise and domestic capacities. Although 90% of machineries in this industry are produced in Europe, the company has embraced the risk and designed bioreactor thanks to the Iranian knowledge-based companies.  

Besides providing the domestic needs, the company exported over 3080 tonnes of yeast to some 14 countries during the first 10 months of the current Iranian years (starting March 2023).
