‘International Conference on Eastern Human Rights’ to be held in Iran

The ‘International Conference on Eastern Human Rights" will be held in the central Iranian city of Qom under the aegis of Baqir al-Olum University in collaboration with Imam Reza shrine’s Islamic Research Foundation.

The goal behind the conference is to facilitate a scientific discourse aimed at establishing the principles and rules of Eastern human rights.
Inviting domestic and international experts and professors to present research papers and create an interactive and elite dialogue is among the priorities for this event.
The conference has set sights on fostering intellectual discourse to organize a new dialogue on Eastern human rights, leveraging the cultural capacity of civilizations and religions to critique the current human rights vacuum, creating an interactive network among human rights intellectuals, especially in Eastern cultural regions, developing the foundations of critical discourse on philosophical principles, etc.
Researchers and scholars in the field of human rights studies are required to submit abstracts by October 22, at the conference website: EHR.BOU.AC.IR.
Topics to be considered for the articles include "Foundations of Eastern Human Rights," "Historical Approach to Eastern Human Rights," "Relationship between Eastern Religions and Spiritualities in the Formation of Human Rights," "Eastern Human Rights and International Relations," "Future Studies on Eastern Human Rights," "Sociology of Eastern Human Rights," and "Economics and Eastern Human Rights."
