The new Consul General of Turkey in Mashhad, Sinan Cem Baş, along with the Deputy Consul General and the representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Mashhad, met with Hoj. Mostafa Faqih Esfandiari, the Deputy for International Affairs.
During the meeting, the Consul General described the city of Mashhad (northeast Iran) as highly significant due to the presence of Imam Reza shrine and the annual pilgrimage of millions of visitors to the area.
He also expressed interest in further expanding cultural relations in the fields of libraries, manuscripts, and educational exchanges with AQR.
In a meeting with the new Consul General of Turkey in Mashhad, the Deputy for International Affairs of Astan Quds Razavi expressed readiness of Imam Reza shrine to expand cultural and educational relations with Turkey.
