"I Love Quran" project receives warm welcome in different countries

"I Love Quran" project has received good welcome not only among Iranians but also internationally, thanks to the collaboration between Quranic Affairs Center of Astan Quds Razavi and administration departments of Iran’s other holy shrines and sacred places.

Director of Quranic Affairs Center of Astan Quds Razavi, Hoj. Seyyed Masoud Mirian, referring to the "I Love Quran" project as the first joint initiative of Quranic activities with other holy shrines and sacred places of Iran, said, “This project was held in six countries of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iraq, China, and Turkey, and 232 Quran students benefited from its educational services in various fields such as reading, correctness of prayer recitation, Quranic concepts education, and memorization”.

Hoj. Mirian added: “This educational project is being held online and through self-learning in four fields of fluent recitation of Quran, Tajweed of prayer, memorization, and interpretation, and contemplation on the Holy Quran”.

“Over 110 thousand Iranian individuals have acquired essential education in reading, correctness of prayer recitation, Quranic concepts, and memorization, with 18,710 successfully obtaining related certificates,” he further noted.

Hoj. Mirian also pointed to the national project of "Shabab al-Reza (AS)" as another domestic initiative of the Quranic Affairs Center of Astan Quds Razavi, which has managed to attract individuals internationally as well”.

According to director of Quranic Affairs Center of Astan Quds Razavi, within the framework of this project, specialized training courses are held with the aim of discovering and nurturing Quranic talents among boys and girls aged 8 to 14, following a model of recitation based on recitations of masters Manshawi, Mustafa Ismail, and Abdul Basit.

“So far, we have managed to start the "Shabab al-Reza (AS)" initiative and the "Desire for Recitation" competitions internationally through selected recitations of this project in Pakistan, Turkey, and Karbala,” he said in conclusion.
