Astan Quds Razavi’s Center for Quranic Affairs has received warm welcome over its Mahd al-Reza Quran teaching project by Muslims in Europe, North America and Asia, says Hoj. Seyyed Masoud Mirian, head of the center.

He added: “This Quranic project started at Quran Center of the holy shrine with two training classes in 1998. The project continued its activity in mosques of Mashhad and 9 provinces with endowments until 2017. Since then, this educational project has undergone significant development, to the extent that it is currently held in 234 cities and villages across the country”.
Mirian went on to say: “In addition to being implemented in 31 provinces across the country, Mahd al-Reza project is now held in 3 continents of Europe, North America, and Asia, particularly in Germany (Bilal Mosque in Hamburg), Canada (Tawhid Center in Calgary, Alberta), Iraq (Najaf), and Afghanistan (Herat), both in-person and virtually with 255 Quran learners in class attendance”.
He also stated: “Enjoying participation of Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly and Al-Mustafa International University, a Mahd al-Reza instructor training course will be held for the missionaries of Ahl al-Bayt World Assembly in Africa in 2025, and Mahd al-Reza educational books will also be translated into four common languages of African countries, including Hausa, Swahili, English, and French”.
