As part of the 8th Scientific Session of the 6th International Congress of Imam Reza, the event took place on May 6, at the Martyr Soleimani Hall in the women’s division of IRIU (northeast Iran).
The session featured academics, students from Mashhad universities, and distinguished intellectuals from different nations.
It was structured into two three-hour panels, where participants discussed dignity and resistance rights in the contemporary world as well as siege and mass killings.
Among the speakers were Masoud Shadjareh, head of the Islamic Human Rights Commission in London; Marzieh Hashemi, journalist, producer, and presenter at Press TV; Sheikh Khalil Afra, chairman of the board of trustees in Bushehr Province; Violette Dagher, French human rights activist and journalist; Sheikh Ali Shaba Chala, director of Islamic Pulse Pakistan; Sheikh Abdulwahid Khajavi, Sunni Friday prayer leader of Shiraz; Dr. Mohammad Tai, vice president and legal affairs director at the Advisory Center for Studies and Documentation in Lebanon; and Hoj. Rasoul Bagheri Darbandi, president of the international NGO Qadimun.
It is noteworthy that, as part of the 6th International Congress of Imam Reza, eight scientific sessions were held over two days at the Islamic Research Foundation of Astan Quds Razavi and IRIU.

Imam Reza International University (IRIU) has hosted a scientific session on dignity and resistance rights, with scholars from 21 countries in attendance.
