The 52nd meeting of the Committee of Representatives of Iran’s Sacred Shrines and Holy Sites was held on April 16, in Tehran, with representatives from the country’s sacred sites in attendance.
The 5th session in a series of global webinars on pilgrimage, titled "Beyond Shrines: Reevaluating the Concept of Pilgrimage in a Fluid World," was held on April 17. Centered around the book “Power of Pilgrimage”, the webinar featured a presentation by Dr. Simon Coleman, a professor at the University of Toronto. The session was organized by the Islamic Research Foundation and the International Affairs Department of Astan Quds Razavi.
