On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, the “Ahla Min al-Asal” ceremony was held at Imam Khomeini Portico of Imam Reza shrine. The event featured mourning rituals by teenage boys, inspired by the sacrifice of Hazrat Qassem ibn Hasan—the young martyr of Karbala—whose famous words, “Martyrdom is sweeter than honey,” gave the ceremony its name.
