Fazaeli, from Khorasan Razavi province, and Alireza Sameri from

Khuzestan province will be Islamic Republic of Iran’s two representatives in the

whole Quran memorization contest of these competitions.

Fazaeli, a student at Ferdowsi University, is from the shrine city of

Mashhad. She has been active as a trainer and referee of different Quranic

competitions. She has also been a teacher of Quranic classes at Imam Reza shrine’s

Quran Center. Last year, she won the second rank in the country’s national Quran

competitions in women’s category and qualified for Jordan’s International Quran

Competitions.

Fazaeli has already bagged many different national and international prizes

for Quran memorization during recent years.
