According to Mahdi Sadeghi Hesar, the director of the central library: “Besides 6100 books, there are some 46 theses, and some 185 audio and video sources about the Prophet’s life and conduct, and his teachings in the library”.

Sadeghi Hesar added that the central library has published books in 92 languages in addition to Persian and Arabic.

He further said that books on the holy Prophet were in Albanian, German, Spanish, Urdu, English, etc.

The director noted that the library has translations of the Holy Quran in 79 languages as well.

Saying that the central library is located in Sheikh Tousi Sanctuary in Imam Reza shrine (northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad), Sadeghi Hesar added: “Researchers can use the library services 24/7. And the public can use the facility every day between 7 and 22 hrs”.
