‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ Operation harbinger of Israeli cancerous tumor annihilation: Custodian

The Custodian of Imam Reza shrine has cited the recent ‘Al-Aqsa Flood’ Operation by the Palestinian resistance groups against the Israeli regime as the harbinger of the annihilation for the ‘cancerous tumor’ of Israel.

“The epic operation by the valiant Palestinian youth in recent days harkens back to the prediction of late Imam Khomeini and that of the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, which stated ‘the Israeli regime wouldn’t see the next 25 years’. This prediction is coming true, and God willing, the regime will be annihilated much sooner”, said Hoj Ahmad Marvi, in a meeting with the deans of prestigious Iranian and Iraqi universities in Velayat Hall of the shrine.

Looking back at the history of Israeli conflicts with the Arab world, the custodian of the shrine noted: “The regime has never been capable of fighting a war. Even if it had waged a battle in the past, it was to prevent a real war. In the Six-Day War of 1967, no real war had been fought. It was the treason of some mercenaries in the Egyptian army that gave the regime intelligence supremacy to launch airstrikes against Egypt at that time”.

Hoj Marvi pointed to the Israeli intelligence failure, asserting, “The intelligence fiasco of the regime had already been revealed in the 33-Day War (2006) and the 23-Day War (2008). Today’s Israel has no longer any intelligence supremacy to incapacitate Egypt, Syria and Jordan”.

“Hezbollah isn’t a country, rather it’s a group that fought against Israel for 33 days, and forced the regime to retreat from Lebanese territory and request a cease fire”, continued the custodian.

“The Israeli regime has to understand that it can’t build settlements wherever it likes, capture Palestinians and kill them. The Zionists have to pay for their 70-year crimes and violations of Palestinians’ rights”, added Hoj Marvi.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the custodian referred to the summit of deans of universities from Iran and Iraq in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad, saying: “The central library of the shrine is one of the cultural treasures in Iran and the Islamic world. Razavi Islamic Sciences University, Islamic Research Foundation, and dozens of other cultural centers affiliated with the shrine can have mutual scientific and cultural ties with Iraqi centers”.
