In a ceremony to unveil the 1400-year-old Holy Quran copy in the shrine – ‘Mashhad Razavi’ copy – the custodian, Hoj Ahmad Marvi, asserted: “We’re honored to have the Holy Quran and the Prophet’s Infallible Household along each other in the shrine, which is a sign of bond between the two”.
Stressing that the shrine attaches great significance to cultural works, Hoj Marvi added: “We take pride in unveiling the oldest copy of the Holy Quran next to Imam Reza shrine. This eminently demonstrates this bond”.
“Imam Reza shrine is a place for people to connect with the Prophet’s Infallible Household, link their lifestyle with the Imam, and learn real life here. Therefore, a library has been constructed in the shrine since the early Islamic centuries”, continued he.
The custodian further condemned the Palestinian genocide at the hands of the occupying Israeli regime amid the silence of many Islamic countries. “What is befalling the Muslims is the outcome of disregarding the Holy Quran and the Prophet’s Infallible Household.”
