Female member of Organs Donation Natl. team donates 10 medals to Imam Reza shrine

A female athlete, who has won several national and international Badminton competitions after a kidney transplantation, donated her medals to Imam Reza shrine.

In a ceremony, Najmeh Kamali, an Isfahani athlete and a member of Iran’s national badminton team, has donated all 10 medals she has so far been able to bag in international contests.

“I had a kidney transplant in 2004, and subsequently joined Isfahan Province Organs Donation team in 2009. In 2011, I went on board the National Badminton Team after my championship in the country”, said she.

She continued: “With God’s grace and blessings of Prophet Muhammad’s Infallible Household, I came out successful from different competitions and won several colorful medals. I’m delighted that I could donate my medals to Imam Reza shrine”.
