According to Davoud Eidi, the head of digital section of the shrine library: “Given the frequent requests by researchers to have access to the existing manuscripts, measures have been taken to facilitate accessibility of these sources in the digital library”.

“Formerly, accessing these sources used to take between 3 to 5 days, which has been eliminated now”, added he.

He continued that the sources that had already been thoroughly examined would be made available to applicants after paying the cost.

“Currently, the system is in service with some 1000 digital manuscripts, but the digital library is set to expand the number of the sources soon”, concluded Eidi.
