Imam Reza shrine’s support lowers expenses for infertile couples

Thanks to the financial and spiritual supports of Imam Reza holy shrine, couples suffering from infertility problems are now paying dramatically lower for their medical treatment in Mashhad.

Expenses of infertile couples for their treatments are now one tenth of what they used to pay, thanks to the development of Milad Infertility Treatment Center by Imam Reza shrine.

Considering importance of issue of population and concerns of country’s officials regarding low fertility and childbearing rates, Imam Reza holy shrine has taken its greatest efforts to settle this national concern. In line with this move, Karamat Razavi Foundation has conducted many cultural and social programs leading to commemoration of motherhood and culture of child bearing in society.

Talking about Imam Reza shrine’s activities in this area, Ja’far Raeisian Zadeh, deputy for social services of the Karamat Razavi Foundation said: “Milad Infertility Treatment Center of Mashhad faced a 2-year delay in construction and equipping due to lack of funds and facilities. Therefore, Imam Reza shrine kicked off to support this project by direct order of the custodian. Allocating fortunes, this center was completed and necessary equipment was provided for it to start its mission”.

Concluding his remarks, Raeisian Zadeh mentioned: “The money paid by couples has significantly been lowered by running this center; those who cannot afford this lowered amount will receive financial packages”.
