According to Amir Mahdi Hakimi, “The closing ceremony of the second round of ‘Mazarat’ International Photo Festival will get underway on 6 January, from 17:30 hrs, in Mashhad”.

In the ceremony, the outstanding participants will be cherished, and the selected works will be presented and unveiled in a book.

An exhibition to display the selected works by the Referees Committee is slated to run on 5 January in Rezvan Gallery, Mashhad.

“The call for submissions to this festival was made in May 2023 in two sections of ‘Mazarat’ (Islamic holy sites), and ‘Prayer’ (in divine faiths). Overall, 7,643 works have been submitted by 1,071 photographers to the secretariat”, added the secretary of the festival.

The 2nd round of ‘Mazarat’ International Photo Festival has been held under the aegis of Institute of Artistic Creations in line with its activities to focus on Imam Reza’s culture.
