In a ceremony held in Velayat Hall of the shrine to grant preaching permission to female preachers from Khorasan Seminary School, Hoj Marvi stressed the significance of guiding people and preaching religion.

The head of Imam Reza shrine added: “Guiding people was assigned to prophets and Imams by God, which indicates the paramount importance of this task”.

He continued that the clerics and religious preachers were also responsible for guiding people.

“The capacity and grasp of the audience need to be taken into account while promoting the religion, and elevate their knowledge accordingly. Although many religious matters are right, they are beyond the grasp of the audience; therefore, they shouldn’t be brought up”, stated Hoj Marvi.

He concluded his remarks by drawing attention to the rhetoric of preachers, particularly with the younger generations, saying: “People, especially the youth, need to be addressed with an attractive rhetoric so that they are drawn to Islam. A threatening, insulting and ignoring tone won’t work. Islam had been consolidated thanks to the pleasant temperament of the Prophet and his Infallible Household. As a result, in promoting Islam, preachers need to take heed of their life and conduct”.
