Brazilian artist converts in Imam Reza shrine

A 32-year-old Brazilian man has converted to Shia Islam in Imam Reza holy shrine concurrent with holy month of Rajab.

Following his personal studies and receiving answers of his questions from experts of Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs of the holy shrine, this young artist decided to choose Islam as his religion.

The new Muslim who has taken “Reza” as his new name said: “Seeking truth is a necessity and I found it in Islam that’s why I am converting to this religion”.

Reza went on to say: “My family members are Christian and I found out that my ancestors who were living in Morocco were all Muslims. This Muslim originality encouraged me to do some more researches on Islam”.

The Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs presented a copy of holy Quran with English translation and some cultural items as gifts to this newly converted Muslim at the end of his conversion ceremony.
