contemporary man thirsty of discourse to secure real justice

Stressing that the complete and veritable version of justice manifests itself in the words of Imam Reza and Ahl al-Bait, the Custodian of the shrine said contemporary human being is thirsty of a discourse that secures real justice.

Speaking in the Fifth International Imam Reza Congress that got underway in Quds Hall of the shrine on May 13, focusing on ‘Justice for all, Oppression for None’, Hoj Ahmad Marvi, the shrine custodian, said: “Historically, we can consider justice as the most important litmus test for mankind; nowadays, however, the contemporary man craves justice more than anytime to secure real justice”.

In the event, which hosted several Iranian and foreign scholars of Islamic and other monotheistic faiths from across four continents, the custodian of Imam Reza shrine urged Muslim scholars to provide precise patterns for the realization of justice.

He denounced the double standards by the West regarding the Palestinian issue, noting: “These days, the true colors of absolutist discourse of yesterday colonialists and today’s neocolonialists have been revealed to the world. Such a discourse has given rise to numerous cases of widespread injustice and discrimination, and the so-called champions of justice and equality looked the other way”.

Referring to the West’s unwavering support for Israeli regime, particularly in its atrocities in recent months, Hoj Marvi called it a clear example of Western false claims to be champions of justice and freedom.

Elsewhere in his remarks, the custodian praised the ‘True Promise’ Operation as the victory of humanity over oppression.

He also thanked Iran’s Leader of the Islamic Revolution for expressing important views about justice in his meeting with the executive members of Imam Reza Congress.

The shrine custodian concluded his remarks by pointing to the three-fold manifestations of justice in human communities according to Imam Reza, saying: “Imam Reza believes justice is important in three aspects; first, justice in human interactions with each other; second, justice in ruling society; and third, justice that emanates from Infallible Imams as perfect human beings”.
