Book of ‘Imam Reza: The Sage of the Family’ published in Serbian

Under the auspices of Iran’s Cultural Attaché in Serbia and in line with the requirements of the Fifth Imam Reza International Congress, the book "Imam Reza: The Sage of the Family" has been translated and published in Serbian .

This book, a publication of the Islamic Research Foundation of Imam Reza shrine, was translated and was put to print by a local publishing institute in collaboration with the Islamic Culture and Relations Organization.
Given the fact that Imam Reza is regarded as the paragon of interfaith dialogue in Islamic culture, and that a section of the book is dedicated to the Imam’s debates with religious scholars of other faiths, especially Christianity, this work can be particularly beneficial for unbiased researchers and can provide a deeper understanding of Shia Islamic teachings.
The book is structured in eight chapters covering topics such as Imam Reza’s life, his spiritual and ethical personality, scholarly character, political life, martyrdom, sayings and teachings, and pilgrimage, as well as the symbol of monotheism and the shrine.
It also includes insightful and instructive explanations by the translator, Aleksandar Dragović.
Additionally, the book has extracts from the Imam’s wisdom, and is a study on pilgrimage, aiming to provide a pathway from the delightful sanctuary of Mashhad (northeast Iran) to paradise.
The Fifth Imam Reza International Congress was held in May by the Scientific and Cultural Organization of Imam Reza shrine, under the slogan "Justice for All, Oppression for None".
