Funeral ceremony held in Imam Reza shrine for martyr Masoumeh Karbasi

A funeral ceremony was held in Imam Reza shrine in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad for Masoumeh Karbasi, the first Iranian female martyr of the resistance front against the Israeli regime.

The funeral ceremony was held at Imam Khomeini Portico of the shrine on October 24, with the Custodian of the shrine, Ayat. Ahmad Marvi, Reza Khorakian, the shrine’s Chief Director, and a group of pilgrims and shrine’s servants in attendance.
Masoumeh Karbasi, a mother of five, was the first Iranian woman who got martyred at the hands of the Israel regime on the path of liberation of al-Quds.
Speaking in the ceremony, Hoj. Ali Alizadeh, a religious expert, invoked a Quranic verse, saying: “The victory of the righteousness front is God’s promise to the resistance fighters”.
“The enemy wrongly believe that it can weaken the front by murdering the resistance fighters, but these martyrs will further strengthen the resistance front against the Israeli regime”, added he.
The speaker of the shrine continued that, “Zionists have been the main enemies of Islam since the very beginning; however, they wouldn’t directly engage in wars, and rather would wage proxy wars against the Islamic Ummah”.
“But the war between Islam and infidels has become overt, and the brutality of the Israeli regime has become evident to the world”, stated Hoj. Alizadeh.
Masoumeh Karbasi and her husband, Reza Awazeh, were martyred on October 19 in southern Beirut by Israeli drone missiles.
