During his visit to the 14th Specialized Agricultural Exhibition in Bojnourd, Iran’s President praised Razavi Agricultural Company's efforts.

Masoud Pezeshkian, the Iranian President, highlighted the importance of Razavi Agricultural Company and Esfarayen Agro-Industry, the largest agro-industry in North Khorasan, in leading the province's agriculture.
During the visit, the President was briefed on Esfarayen Agro-Industry's achievements, including grain and cotton seeds, and the top cotton varieties "Khorshid" and "Varamin."
Pioneering efforts in gene breeding for multiple births in sheep were also showcased, demonstrating Esfarayen's significant role in regional agricultural and livestock development.
“The company should provide specialized training to local farmers and breeders and develop productive livestock to become a model for other agricultural sectors in the province”, Pezeshkian emphasized.
A key discussion during the visit focused on energy imbalance affecting agriculture.
Also Morteza Khast, Esfarayen Agro-Industry's manager, reported on the impact of frequent power outages on agricultural processes. He requested that the President collaborate with North Khorasan's governor and other officials to plan for mitigating power outage damages.
