In collaboration with Astan Quds Razavi's Center for Libraries, Museums, and Documents, an exhibition titled ‘Imam Reza shrine with a taste of culture’ is taking place at The University of Tokyo, Japan.
The exhibition is being held in the university's main library on Hongo campus from December 20, 2024, to January 31, 2025, and is open to visitors from 9 AM to 10:30 PM.
The exhibition showcases cultural products and publications of AQR presented to Japanese visitors during their trips to Mashhad (northeast Iran).
It also features images of Imam Reza shrine, photos of the signing ceremony of the cooperation agreement at Razavi Library, and the Japanese delegation's visit to various sections of the organization.
In addition to the exhibition, two lectures will be given on January 10, 2025, by Japanese professors who visited Mashhad.
Professor Kazuo Morimoto will speak on the purpose of the exhibition, and Professor Eiji Sagawa will discuss the cultural development and activities of Imam Reza shrine at The University of Tokyo's main library.
The cooperation agreement between AQR and The University of Tokyo's Asian Studies Library, signed in March 2024, aims to exchange information and experiences in enhancing library services, both physical and virtual. This includes developing electronic resources, digital libraries, and preserving and restoring library materials.
