Nomads, backbone of Islamic Revolution, a reserve for country's development, security: Custodian

The custodian of Astan Quds Razavi considers nomads the backbone of the 1979 Islamic Revolution and a reserve for the country's development and security.

In a gathering of first-time pilgrim nomads at Imam Reza shrine (northeast Iran), Ayat. Ahmad Marvi highlighted the significance of nomads in the remarks made by Imam Khomeini and the Leader of the Islamic Revolution.
He noted that Imam Khomeini said "Nomads are the reserves of the Revolution," indicating their value and importance.
The Custodian of AQR added: "A ‘reserves’ mean assets, and anyone without assets is empty-handed. Imam Khomeini introduced the nomads as the assets for the Revolution”.
The custodian emphasized: “Our dear nomads have a significant and impactful presence. During the Sacred Defense era, brave nomads gained great honors and offered many martyrs to the Revolution and Islam. They have always stood firm against enemies' conspiracies”.
He further expressed that nomads, proud of being Iranian and Muslim, showed they are Iranian before belonging to any tribe.
“In economic fields, nomads have provided significant services towards self-sufficiency by enduring hardships”, Ayat. Marvi said.
He stated that the Leader has always emphasized the importance of nomads, highlighting their crucial role in border and food security.
Ayat. Marvi noted that one of the recommended practices in Rajab (the 7th month in the Islamic lunar calendar) is the pilgrimage to Imam Reza shrine, emphasizing, “God has granted you, dear nomads, the worthiness to visit the Imam in this blessed month”.
The custodian continued: “Some Imams have specific prominent features. The term ‘compassionate’ is used for two: the Prophet Muhammad and Imam Reza”.
Ayat. Marvi concluded his remarks by saying, “No one leaves this sacred place in despair. This is the court of the compassionate Imam who cares for everyone”.
