The visit, arranged by Central Asia desk at the holy shrine’s Office for Foreign pilgrims’ Affairs, included various cultural programs for the 48-person group.
Previously arranged programs began with a warm welcome on the part of Razavi servants and also experts of the office. Subsequently, Hoj. Seyyed Ali Farimaneh, a religious expert, created an atmosphere full of pure Islamic teachings for these newly arrived pilgrims.
Uzbek pilgrims participated in a cultural competition and prizes were awarded to the winners. Additionally, each member of the caravan took home spiritual souvenirs, including a pilgrimage certificate poster and a prayer booklet.
In a symbolic ceremony, a fabric with inscriptions of the holy shrine was also presented to the leader of this caravan to ensure the everlasting connection of this group with the holy complex.
The program came to end with a tour of the shrine and Central Museum of the complex.
Also in the same program, Hoj. Seyyed Mohammad Zolfaghari, head of the Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs, emphasized expansion of cultural relations and strengthening of spiritual ties with Shia Muslims around the world.
The event was both an opportunity to strengthen spiritual connection of the pilgrims with Imam Reza (AS) and a step towards expanding Islamic teachings among Shia Muslims of Central Asia.
