Razavi Hospital continues to be recognized as a first-class medical center and an active treatment hub in northeast Iran, catching the attention of everyone, including specialists, medical staff, domestic and foreign patients.

Launching Boshra Center

Opening of the largest specialized infertility treatment center (IVF) in Iran’s east, titled “Boshra”, is considered the most significant achievement of this large medical complex in last Persian year.

This plan was developed in response to the concerns of chief custodian of Imam Reza shrine, Ayatollah Marvi, regarding issues of childbearing and the youth population in the country as well as to improve services of this hospital in treating infertile patients.

In recent months, the center has also had recruitment of experienced doctors, enhancement of its super-specialized services, and facilitation of services for clients.

Promotion of Services and Facilities

Opening "Azan (Call for Prayer) Room" for reciting Azan and Iqamah in the ears of newborns, which was first implemented in the healthcare centers of the country, was among other significant actions of this hospital in the past year.

The Azan Room was inaugurated due to importance of this noble and ancient tradition, following emphasis made by Hoj Marvi and in line with the oneness of body and soul.

Last year, the radiotherapy and oncology department of the hospital was also equipped with a brachytherapy device, aiming to enhance services for patients in the east of the country.

Scientific and Educational Achievements 

Razavi Hospital paid special attention to training and research in various medical fields during last year as well. This center hosted various scientific events such as conferences, meetings, and training courses, among which the fourth congress on "Colorectal Diseases" and the seminar on "Stoma Nursing Care," in collaboration with Mashhad University of Medical Sciences, are considered the most significant scientific events of this hospital in the last Persian year.

Moreover, the second training course on "Drug Integration" was held with the effort of National Center for Vocational and Professional Education in Medical Sciences at Razavi Hospital.

Also, in the light of blessings of Imam Reza (AS), successful completion of several rare, complex, and major surgeries in this hospital were observed last year saving the lives of patients from infants to adults.

Holding Jihadi Camps in Underprivileged Areas 

In line with directives of the chief custodian of Astan Quds Razavi for paying special attention to the impoverished and underprivileged groups in society and also to assist and serve underdeveloped regions, the hospital provides various free of charge medical services on various platforms to these groups and areas. This year, it has also offered discounted and free medical services to disadvantaged and low-income patients.

Holding jihadi camps in villages and underprivileged areas of Khorasan Razavi Province is one of these platforms, carried out with the efforts of Basij Base of martyr Dr. Ahmad Khosravi. Razavi Hospital also run another plan for the poor known as Healthcare Services on Thursdays aimed at promoting health level of the society.

Best National Exporter of Health Tourism 

Razavi Hospital has established its position well in the health tourism industry in recent years and it now ranks first among city centers attracting health tourists.

This hospital also undertook valuable actions in this field, including participation in the exhibition section of the twenty-eighth meeting of the "Summit of ECO Member States" in Mashhad and the initiation of a new round of joint collaborations in health tourism between Razavi Hospital and Imam Ali shrine.

Honors

Razavi hospital gained several valuable honors during last year, among the most important of which are receiving the highest accreditation level for hospitals in the country, namely the Excellent Grade Award for the second consecutive term, earning the title of exemplary unit for “Supporting Family Establishment and Childbearing” in Khorasan Razavi and also being recognized as the exemplary “Family-Friendly” medical unit in the province.

In addition to these honors, the “Tobacco-Free Hospital” certificate of Razavi Hospital was renewed for the fourth consecutive year by Mashhad University of Medical Sciences. This university also recognized Razavi Hospital as a top hospital in terms of right hygiene practices and a safe hospital.

Additionally, the CEO of Iran’s Health Insurance Organization praised Razavi Hospital for its efforts in providing quality services to patients and insured individuals, including the initiation of the electronic filing process for patients and complete paperless procedures in this hospital.

In recent years, Razavi Hospital has been recognized as a green hospital due to various approaches in preserving the environment as well.
