The statement, issued at Imam Reza shrine, calls for urgent support for the oppressed people of Gaza.
Quoting the Islamic teaching, “Whoever does not care for Muslims’ matters is not one of them,” the statement underscores the duty of Muslims to respond to the cries for help of people in Gaza and take action.
The committee criticized the Israeli regime’s disregard for humanitarian values, including the protection of civilians, journalists, schools, hospitals, and essential services. It condemned the regime’s atrocities as surpassing all definitions of war crimes and genocide, highlighting the failure of international organizations and human rights advocacy.
The statement also denounced the silence and betrayal of some regional Muslim leaders, describing their indifference as complicity in Israel’s crimes. It stressed the unwavering resolve and bravery of Palestinians and the resistance front, particularly in Yemen, which continues to inspire awe globally despite immense challenges.
Finally, the statement declared that the committee’s members—representing Iran’s sacred shrines—have lost faith in international institutions and vowed comprehensive support for Gaza. It called upon God and the Infallible Imams for help and expressed determination to use all material and spiritual resources to aid the oppressed and resist tyranny.
The committee includes representatives from Imam Reza shrine, Hazrat Masumeh shrine, Shah Cheragh shrine, Abdolazim Hassani shrine, Jamkaran Mosque, Organization of Endowments and Charity Affairs of Iran, and the Leader’s Office for Hajj and Pilgrimage Affairs.

The Committee of Representatives of Iran’s sacred shrines and holy sites has issued a statement condemning ceasefire violations and renewed atrocities committed by the Israeli regime in Gaza.
