Speaking at the thanksgiving ceremony for the eighteenth year of the cultural and religious caravan of Under the Shade of the Sun, Ayatollah Mohsen Haidari stated: “Participation in this caravan and in the celebrations for the birth anniversary of Imam Reza is a great blessing that we must all appreciate and be grateful for”.
Friday prayer leader of Ahvaz added: “We witness presence of Under the Shade of the Sun Caravan every year not only in the cities and villages of the country, but also in various countries such as Iraq, Lebanon, and Syria. Displaying the flag of Imam Reza shrine overseas is both a symbol of the shrine and a media for guidance of people”.
“The flag of Razavi shrine, which is carried to various cities and countries by this caravan is a common symbol of heavenly religions,” he said, adding “At international conference of Imam Reza (AS) in Beirut, many Christian scholars and followers of other religions warmly welcomed this flag”.
Speaking in the same ceremony, Milad Shoaybi, secretary of the public celebrations of Under the Shade of the Sun, also stated: “In addition to honoring 18 years of service and spiritual development as well as enhancement of Razavi pilgrimage across the country and the globe, a plan for better organization of these celebrations will be implemented in the coming years”.
He added: “We anticipate holding 15 thousand events this year in more than two thousand locations across the country”.
He pointed out: “Like previous years, this year’s Under the Shade of the Sun celebrations will be held during Karamat Ten-Day Celebrations. Slated for April 29-May 9, 2025, the event will have more than 65 caravans from inside the country and 15 to 20 from outside the country.
