In a meeting with the National Karamat Ten-Day Commemoration Committee held at Imam Reza Shrine (northeast Iran), Ayat. Marvi remarked: “The shrine is more than a site of visitation—it is a center for spiritual and intellectual connection with Imam Reza, who remains a guiding beacon of unity and blessings for the nation”.
He described the Imams as eternal and impactful figures, bridging the realms of physical and spiritual existence.
Highlighting the importance of dignity in practice, Ayat. Marvi outlined: “There are practical ways to embody the ethos of the Ahlul-Bayt. Initiatives such as assisting the disadvantaged, providing dowries for underprivileged youth, building homes for impoverished families, and expanding grassroots cultural programs were underscored as concrete expressions of Karamat (dignity)”.
He called for celebrations that extend beyond symbolic gatherings, urging the transformation of the Karamat Ten-Day celebrations into a cultural movement that resonates deeply in people’s lives.
AQR’s Custodian also emphasized people’s central role in organizing religious events, noting, “Community involvement makes such gatherings enduring and impactful”.
He urged leaders to enable grassroots participation, trusting in people’s natural inclination toward the Ahlul-Bayt, acknowledging humanity’s need for joyous and meaningful celebrations and advocating for healthy and spiritual forms of collective happiness.
The Karamat Ten-Day celebrations begin with the birth anniversary of Imam Reza’s sister Hazrat Masumah and culminates in the birth anniversary of Imam Reza.
Ayat. Marvi highlighted the significance of this period, marked by reverence for two esteemed figures of the Ahlul-Bayt, urging communities to honor their teachings and values through heartfelt service and cultural engagement.

Ayat. Ahmad Marvi, the Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR), emphasized that the Karamat Ten-Day celebrations should be infused with religious vitality, social service, and enlightenment. He stressed that such efforts could integrate the values of the Ahlul-Bayt into the daily lives of people.
