Ayat. Ahmad Marvi compared the crimes of the Zionist regime to the delusions of Umayyad’s Daynasty (661-750 CE) at the tragedy of Ashura. “The Zionists, who believe killing the people of Gaza will eradicate resistance, are deceived—just as Umayyads falsely assumed that the martyrdom of Imam Hussein would end Islam”.
Speaking at a gathering of Lebanese students in Iran, Ayat. Marvi condemned the Zionist regime’s ongoing brutality, highlighting: “The regime is unable to achieve objectives in Gaza or Lebanon”.
“Despite killing nearly 50,000 innocent Gazans,” he stated, “Israel failed to liberate even a single hostage or destroy Hamas.”
Ayat. Marvi likened this to Ashura, explaining, “Umayyads believed that the martyrdom of Imam Hussein would extinguish Islam, yet Islam flourished globally following the tragedy. Similarly, Zionist crimes will ultimately fortify resistance in Palestine and across the world”.
Highlighting Israel’s contradictions, Ayat. Marvi remarked: “The regime announces its victory while simultaneously proposing ceasefires—a clear sign of its inability to defeat resistance”.
He praised Hezbollah’s enduring strength despite losses, emphasizing that resistance continues to grow and inspire hope among oppressed peoples.
AQR’s Custodian paid tribute to martyr Sayyed Hassan Nasrallah, hailing him as a global symbol of freedom, justice, and truth.
“Resistance stems from the people’s faith, which cannot be eradicated by military attacks. Zionists are misguided in believing they can destroy values rooted in Islam, the Quran, and the teachings of Ahlul-Bayt”, he emphasized.
Describing Nasrallah’s legacy, Ayat. Marvi outlined his unwavering faith, love for people, adherence to Islam, honesty, and political wisdom as defining traits that elevate his stature among global freedom-seekers.

The Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR), Ayat. Ahmad Marvi, emphasizes that oppression is never sustainable and justice ultimately triumphs.
