Justice for all, oppression for none; should become life guideline: President

Addressing participants at closing ceremony of the 6th International Congress of Imam Reza, Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian says justice for all, and oppression for none should become the guideline for our lives.

Sending regards to pure souls of martyrs, especially former president martyr Raeisi, President Pezeshkian referred to the famous tradition of Imam Reza (AS) about reviving the matter of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), noting: “All our efforts must revive the matter of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS) in the society. God created the earth and everything existing in it for the sake of man”.
Referring to verses from holy Quran about creation of man and protest of the angels, he said: “God taught man all knowledge and then asked the angels, but they said we have nothing except what You have given us, except for Satan who expressed arrogance and pride in the face of knowledge and wisdom, but God gave dignity to man to prove man's worldview”.
Iranian president stated: “Man’s growth depends on his perspective; it is man's arrogance and rebellion that leads to killing and looting instead of showing dignity”.
“Neither black, nor white, neither Arab, nor non-Arab, it makes no difference. The criterion for happiness and salvation before God is only piety; therefore, piety means movement and decision without error and movement for Allah,” Pezeshkian noted.
Referring to a part of Nahj al-Balagha, Pezeshkian stated that fault is a wild horse, the one who is mistaken is riding this wild horse, but piety is a tame horse that takes its rider to paradise”.
Referring to the fact that the name of Imam Khomeini (RA) is still alive today, he stated: “We must operationalize this Razavi path, movement, and belief as well piety and act based on Quran, because verses of Quran are not just for recitation, but for contemplation and action”.
He went on to say: “With elites and scholars attending this meeting, I hope we can reach state of action from justice for all and oppression for none; we must build a nation where the path of the Imam Khomeini (RA) is shown in society. This path is justice for all and oppression for none”.
Pezeshkian expressed hope that the outcome of this congress could be greater unity and solidarity among Muslims and greater dissemination of Imam Reza’s lifestyle and conduct.
It is worth mentioning that five new works of Islamic Research Foundation and Razavi University of Islamic Sciences were unveiled on the sideline of the closing ceremony.
