During the congress’s closing session at Quds Hall, Ayat. Ahmad Marvi, the Custodian of Astan Quds Razavi (AQR), stressed that returning to the teachings of Ahl al-Bayt is vital for confronting today’s moral crises.
He explained: “In Imam Reza’s perspective, human dignity is inherent and not subject to political or social negotiations”.
Referring to Hadith Silsilat al-Dhahab, he highlighted: “True honor is achieved through devotion to God and that Imam Reza’s teachings offer a universal framework for ethical governance”.
Expanding on this theme, Dr. Abdolhamid Talebi, head of AQR’s Scientific and Cultural Organization, discussed the congress’s mission to make Imam Reza’s wisdom accessible globally.
He referenced the Imam’s statement: “If people become familiar with the beauty of our words, they will surely follow us,” underscoring efforts to establish Astan Quds Razavi as an intellectual hub for Islamic thought.
He also announced: “The congress will now be held biennially, with over 50 planned sessions next year addressing human rights and dignity, including forums on “Dignity and Resistance Rights in the Contemporary World”.
Elsewhere in the event, reflecting on Imam Reza’s significance, Dr. Michel Kadie, a Lebanese Christian scholar, described him as a manifestation of true faith and spiritual values.
He praised Imam Reza’s moral purity and familial resemblance to other members of Ahl al-Bayt, known for their piety, humility, and wisdom.
Dr. Kadie shared that studying Imam Reza’s epistles deepened his admiration for him, inspiring him to write 12 books about Ahl al-Bayt, including one comparing Islamic and Western medicine, now published in French.

The 6th International Congress of Imam Reza emphasized the role of Ahl al-Bayt teachings in addressing modern challenges and establishing an Islamic society rooted in justice and dignity.
