Al-Mustafa Intl. University students celebrate birthday of Imam Reza (AS)

Coinciding auspicious days of the birth anniversary of Imam Reza (AS) and Karamat Ten-Day Celebrations, Astan Quds Razavi’s Deputy Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs holds a magnificent ceremony having 120 non-Iranian students from al-Mustafa International University (MIU) in attendance.

Addressing participants of the ceremony, Hoj. Saeedi Fazel, emphasized the importance of scientific and ethical conduct of Imam Reza (AS) as a model for unity and interaction between religions and cultures.
The ceremony continued by some cultural programs, reciting poetry and performing prayers. MIU non-Iranian students had Faraj prayer and prayed for appearance of Imam Mahdi (AS) as well. Faraj prayer is one of the famous prayers in Islamic culture, recited for reappearance of Imam Mahdi (may God hasten his reappearance).
The program was held on May 8th in Ghadir portico of Imam Reza Shrine, promoting Razavi teachings with participants from various nationalities.
