Holy shrine commemorates birth anniversaries of Prophet Mohammad, Imam Sadiq in festive atmosphere

Imam Reza Shrine has taken a festive atmosphere with floral arrangements, decorations, and installation of commemorative banners on the eve of birth anniversaries of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and Imam Ja'far Sadiq (AS).

Referring to extensive programs of the shrine for birth anniversaries of the Prophet and Imam Ja'far Sadiq (AS), Mohammad Shaban, deputy for pilgrim services at Imam Reza Shrine, stated: “Four large banners have been installed in main porches of the complex and green flags with theme of Vilayat have been placed in all courtyards”.
Shaban continued: “Special floral arrangements have also been implemented to provide a more delightful fragrance, freshness, and beauty for the pilgrims”.
He said: “Over 150 thousand soft drinks and sweets and candies are being distributed among pilgrims in Imam Khomeini portico and shrine's tea houses. Also, about 120 thousand packages have been prepared for distribution in teahouses”.
Shaban added: “Four active Mukibs also serve pilgrims at entrances of Bab al-Kazem (AS), Bab al-Hadi (AS), entrance of Ayatollah Vaez Tabasi Street, and other crowded areas of the holy shrine”.
Deputy for pilgrim services at Imam Reza Shrine also announced the replacement of prayer tablets with those belonging to Karbala. “A total of 300 thousand prayer tablets are distributed in all courtyards and porticos of the complex simultaneously with this holy occasion”.
Shaban concluded his remarks saying, “Some other services such as increasing capacity of luggage storage offices and welfare services like mobile phone charging for convenience of pilgrims have also been anticipated for this occasion”.
