Mourning flag raised at Hazrat Masoumeh shrine
Black flag of mourning was raised over the dome of Hazrat Masoumeh holy shrine in a special ceremony on the occasion of her demise anniversary. The ritual was held on Oct. 13, 2024 at Imam Reza Courtyard of the shrine with famous panegyrists and lecturers in attendance. Hazrat Masoumeh was the sister of Imam Reza, the eighth Shia Imam, whose shrine is located in Mashhad, northeast Iran.
