Welcoming Sha'ban festivities, Imam Reza shrine, northeast Iran, has been adorned with flowers and banners on February 1 for the birth anniversaries of Imam Hussein, Imam Sajjad (3rd and 4th Shia Imams), and Hazrat Abbas (Imam Hussein’s brother). The decorations have been set up in various courtyards and locations within the shrine to mark the joyous occasion. Pilgrims and locals from near and far have gathered at the sacred site to offer their congratulations and celebrate the festivities.
