The International Congress of Martyrs Defending the Shrine and Resistance Front has commenced in Imam Reza shrine in the northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad with a message from Ayat Seyyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, with families of the martyrs and war veterans in attendance.
