Hoj. Shariatinejad said: “Paying special attention to foreign pilgrims of the complex is one of the main approaches in this year’s programs; “We are all Servants of Imam Reza (AS), Gracious Service, Sympathy, and Hope” is the key motto for this year’s programs”.
He added: “The joyful programs started on Hazrat Masumeh’s birthday, falling on May 21, 2023, will be continued up to the birthday of Imam Reza (AS). Artists and servants of Imam Reza holy shrine offered some hand-woven carpets to the holy shrine of Hazrat Masumeh (SA) on the first day of the celebrations as well”.
He went on to say: “Urdu and Arabic language ceremonies will be held every day at 06:30 p.m in Ghadir portico of Imam Reza shrine".
Shariatinejad also stressed: “An exhibition of artworks was opened on May 21, 2023 at Dar al-Rahmah portico thanks to the endeavors made by the Office for Foreign Pilgrims’ Affairs. This art exhibition is held in cooperation with art centers from Kuwait and Iraq as well as Iran’s Ministry of Culture”.
Imam Reza Holy Shrine’s Deputy for Islamic Ideology Dissemination also stated: “Flag replacement ceremony will be held on birthday of Imam Reza (AS); different Quranic ceremonies will be held in presence of international Quran reciters on the same day”.
Hoj. Shariatinejad further noted: “This year’s Karamat ten-day celebrations include a commemoration ceremony on the occasion of recapture of Khorramshahr and Arab language martyrs against British colonialism as well”.
