Foreign guests to lecture in preliminary session of Imam Reza Intl. Congress

Scientific and Cultural Organization of Imam Reza shrine is set to hold the second preliminary session of Imam Reza International Congress with foreign guests in attendance.

Speaking in a press conference, Abdul-Hamid Talebi, head of Scientific and Cultural Organization, pointed to some details and the date for the second preliminary session of Imam Reza International Congress, which is scheduled for May 30 in northeastern Iranian city of Mashhad.

“Mohammad al-‘Asi, imam of Washington Mosque, and assistant professor in International Islamic University Malaysia, Dr. Olsi Jazexhiu, will be talking about Imam Reza and ‘Denied Justice, Islam’s complicated situation in Europe’ respectively”, said Talebi.

Other speakers include Dr. Rebecca Masterton, professor of the Islamic College, who will be talking about Muslims’ duty in the reformation campaign of the British legal system according to the Islamic and Imam Reza’s teachings;  Nazmina Dhanji, head of Arabic Studies in Al-Mahdi Institute, who is going to speak on the concept of social justice against the backdrop of Quranic concepts of equality and justice; Turkish researcher Hussein Uzcan, who is set to talk about the concepts of justice and oppression in Imam Reza’s words, etc.
