Talking on the sideline of elites of Shia pulpits forum in Mashhad, Toghir Abbas said: “Before victory of the Islamic Revolution, Shia was not known to the world people; however, it is widely famous and known around the world now”.

The Pakistani scholar added: “The kind of security that exists in Iran is a direct result of the Islamic Revolution. Confronting the arrogant powers has always been a key policy of Iran. All these have put Shia in upper hand position”. 

He stressed: “Iran’s power in not a mere political power rather it is a spiritual power which originates from Shia beliefs”. Denouncing and condemning words and acts of the Takfiri groups, Toghir Abbas said Pakistani scholars have very good relations with their Sunni brothers, adding “What Takfiri groups do is not useful, neither for Sunnis nor for Shias”.
