Literary event in support of Palestinians in Mashhad

Imam Reza International University has held literary and artistic event of “Storm of Words” in support of innocent Palestinian people at its Palestine Square campus.

The event had a number of officials of Imam Reza shrine including Abdolhamid Talebi, head of Scientific and Cultural Foundation, Amir Mahdi Hakimi, CEO of the Institute of Artistic Creations, and Morteza Rojouei, president of Imam Reza International University in attendance.

Iranian poets and some other poets from Bahrain, Syria, and Afghanistan were those who read their poems in condemnation of the Zionist regime’s crimes in the Gaza stirp and in the whole territory of Palestine.

The presenter of the ceremony which was covered live by IRIB was Hamed Asgari.

Mohammad Javad Manouchehri, Kamel Esmaeil, Mostafa Jalilian Moslehi, Gholamreza Gholampour, Raziyeh Rajaei, Seyyed Fazlollah Ghodsi, Ahmad Babaei, Seyyed Aba al-Fazl Mobarez, Masoud Yousefpour, Seyyed Hossein Seyyedi, Zafer al-Alawi, Elena Laveian, and Mohammad Reza Yaghoubi All were among salient participants who read some of their poems in this gathering.

It’s worth mentioning that, prominent artist of Mashhad, Mohammad Reza Miri, also created a painting based on an image of a Palestinian child with acrylic technique on the sideline of the same gathering. A group of children had their paintings on Palestine and Gaza on the outskirts of Palestine Square as well. Playing a video clip and performing a hymn was another program of this great public event.
