Sadeghi said: “In addition to this valuable collection, some other unique books in Farsi, Arabic, Urdu, and some other languages can be found in the library”.
He said: “Lead printing or typography is created by putting lead letters together and reflecting that pattern on paper, which was first done by the Gutenberg in 1450”.
Sadeghi further stated: “With respect to uniqueness of these works in terms of type of the cover page, size, type of the paper and type of the letters and pictures, these books have been separated from others and are kept in a collection called ancient lead printed books”.
Manager of Imam Reza Central Library further mentioned: “Most books of this collection which were published by Mirza Zein al-Abedin in government building of Tehran are known as Motamedi books”.
