Noting that the 1700 new volunteer servants and assistants came from different Iranian cities, Amir Moslem Kashanizadeh said: “To provide services to millions of pilgrims visiting the mosque during Mid-Sha’ban festivities and Nowrouz holidays, we have chosen ‘We are companions of Imam Mahdi to Welcome You’ as our slogan”.
“Servants’ treatment of pilgrims is a manifestation of Prophet Muhammad’s Infallible Household’s life and conduct; therefore, welcoming pilgrims and treating them with respect will be a cultural and moral precedent in society”, added Kashanizadeh.
The manager further stated that although the mosque administration was responsible for the provision of pilgrims services, such a great endeavor would not be possible without the help of servants.
The Jamkaran Mosque is one of the primary significant mosques in Jamkaran, a village in the outskirts of the city of Qom, Iran.
