Thousands of voluntary servants serve in Jamkaran Mosque during Mid-Sha’ban festivities, Nowrouz

Head of Servants Affairs in Jamkaran Mosque says some 600 servants and 1100 assistants have been voluntarily added to 8000-strong servants in the mosque to provide services during Mid-Sha’ban festivities and upcoming Nowrouz holidays (starting 21 March

Noting that the 1700 new volunteer servants and assistants came from different Iranian cities, Amir Moslem Kashanizadeh said: “To provide services to millions of pilgrims visiting the mosque during Mid-Sha’ban festivities and Nowrouz holidays, we have chosen ‘We are companions of Imam Mahdi to Welcome You’ as our slogan”.

“Servants’ treatment of pilgrims is a manifestation of Prophet Muhammad’s Infallible Household’s life and conduct; therefore, welcoming pilgrims and treating them with respect will be a cultural and moral precedent in society”, added Kashanizadeh.

The manager further stated that although the mosque administration was responsible for the provision of pilgrims services, such a great endeavor would not be possible without the help of servants.

The Jamkaran Mosque is one of the primary significant mosques in Jamkaran, a village in the outskirts of the city of Qom, Iran.
